Formation of Parents of Preschoolers
This group will assist the director and faculty in achieving school goals and will provide community input that is essential to the success of the school
The Parent Support Group will consist of a designated representative, appointed by the director, from each age group who will then seek volunteers from his or her child’s class.
Some of the activities that the Parent Support Group will assist with are:
- Social Action Group—this is an ongoing activity that will give classrooms the tools and support they need to recycle and give back to needy neighbors.
- Gingerbread and Gumdrop Craft Fair –Parents volunteering for this group will organize activities such as food sales, cake walk, gathering items for a silent auction, and helping classrooms with a curriculum inspired item for the silent auction.
- Other functions—This group will organize social gatherings such as Friends and Family Day, Valentine’s Day, Open House, etc.
